Wednesdays- Dockyard Trail

History and Heritage (9 miles)

This route dives into the rich history of Bermuda with a few splashes from local favourite spots.

Meet at Hamilton ferry at 8:45 where you trip begins and you will leave for Dockyard.

Explore the historic Dockyard where you will visit the iconic Commissioners House.

Tighten up the laces as you hit the trail and head for Somerset Village with a stop at Glass Beach and the famous Woodys for lunch.

With full stomachs your next stop is Fort Scaur which is a great spot to take your bearings with views in all directions. Here you will also have the chance yo freshen up with a quick swim.

The home stretch gives you a chance to see into lives of local Bermudians as the railway weaves its way through an old residential area to the Rockaway ferry where you will set off for Hamilton again.

We bid you farewell at Hamilton at 5pm, however before you head for home make sure you stop off on front street to quench your thirst after a big day.
