Hike the country in 4 days and experience authentic Bermudian accommodation.
There simply is no better way to see and experience Bermuda than on foot. Follow the railway trail built in the 1600’s which extends the length of the country hitting all the key landmarks whilst getting a truly unique Bermudan experience.
Throughout the trip you will stay at our beautiful Victorian style house, situated right on the waters of the north shore with private steps down to the ocean. Your daily trips will leave and return from this house.
The hike itself is 4 full day tours of different sections of the island with a variety of activities built into your itinerary as described in the break down below.
Day 1- Dockyard and Somerset
Start this journey by taking the Dockyard ferry, from Hamilton, up to the Dockyard. This ferry will give an incredible perspective of the distance you will be covering on your 4 day hike.
From dockyard you will start hiking south to make your way to Somerset village. Somerset village is a historical parish in Bermuda. Somerset became a hub for ship building and agriculture. The iconic Somerset tree bridge is a must see – the worlds smallest drawbridge connects Somerset island to the mainland.
After crossing the Somerset bridge, your day will end with a walk to the Hamilton ferry which will bring you back into the city. From here you will be taken back to your accommodation.

Day 2- The beaches
Your second leg of this journey was start in Paget Parish where you will be dropped in the morning. From here you will hike west across some of the most famous landmarks in Bermuda. This day will provide you with a leisurely opportunity to experience the pink sand beaches of Bermuda, from Warwick Longbay all the way to the iconic “Instagram beach” Horseshoe bay.
After a relaxing afternoon on the Bermudian beaches, you will walk through Southampton parish to jump on the Hamilton ferry to be taken back into the city.
You may choose to spend an evening in the city or be taken back to your accommodation to enjoy the beautiful sunsets Bermuda has to offer.

Day 3- St Georges (10km)
You will be dropped off at Coney Island where you will start your morning off with a kayak across Castle Island inlet to reach the Ferry Point Park.
Enjoy a walk through the park as you make your way to the town of St Georges which is one of the oldest towns on the island. The quaint town is rich with the history of the country and the 400 year old buildings take you back in time to foundations of modern day Bermuda.
You will amble your way to the famous Tobacco Bay where you can enjoy a Pina colade and a swim at this iconic beach (not getting caught in the rain).

Day 4- Bailey’s Bay
Your day will begin with a tour of the Crystal Caves before getting a chance to get the adrenalin pumping with a jump into Bermuda’s “Blue Hole”.
Todays hike is probably the most picturesque as the railway trail carries you along the shoreline past the still waters of Baileys Bay as you make your way towards the town called Flatts.
With the end in sight you will finish at your accommadation where a festive night of celebrations awaits!
