We are local Bermudians passionate about our country and the beauty of its shores. Growing up on the vibrant north shore of the island, we (John and Jesse Seymour) have founded Hike Bermuda as a way to share this incredible island in a way that people get more than an “in and out” tourist experience. Hike Bermuda is set up to provide an experience where you can fully engage in island life, and the rich cultural and historical significance of Bermuda.
We have transformed our family home to provide authentic accommodation where you will feel right at home without losing the uniqueness of the Victorian-style architecture which characterises the buildings. We are sure the house will provide the same warm and relaxing experience that we had growing up.
As active outdoor enthusiasts, we figured there was no better way to really get a grassroots experience than to hike the island, using the historical railway which runs from one end of the island to the other. We have built our route with deviations to see the main sites as well as some local favourites.
We hope to welcome you to paradise as we host you in true local fashion.

Our vision
Our vision is to rejuvenate the Bermuda tourism industry post-COVID-19 by promoting an all-encompassing tourism experience. We believe in the power of active exploration, immersion in nature, and intellectual stimulation through cultural and historical encounters. By utilizing the historic railroad, we intend to create a sustainable and engaging tourism model that benefits both visitors and the local community.
